Malene Sheppard Skærved
Faculty Supervisor
Malene Sheppard Skærved is the convener for Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London. A Danish writer and filmmaker, she collaborates with composers and artists on cross-disciplinary projects that weave together music, sound, image, and narrative.
Her work often explores the porous boundaries between forms, where story and sound meet to create immersive experiences. -
Isabella Valencia Zapata

Isabella is a final-year BA Media and English student. Specialising in poetry, epistolary prose & translation, and an avid reader of post-colonial thought, she weaves lyrical language and politics into introspective narratives, delving into how belonging and voice intersect in literature.Isabella will be in charge of directing Golddust for the 2025/2026 period.

Zainab is a final-year BA Media and Communications student, specialising in experimental filmmaking. Inspired by her British-Pakistani heritage, she incorporates themes of nationhood, identity, nostalgia and memory in her works. She's always open to collaborating and enjoys meeting new artists!Zainab will be leading the creative direction for the magazine in 2025/2026.

Johnny is a final-year BA Media and Communications student. He explores the intersections of sound, rhythm, and experimental film, cultivating a distinctive artistic voice.
Johnny is part of the magazine’s creative direction for the 2025/2026 period. -

Keisha Hubbard
Editor
@keihubbarddKei is a 3rd year Media and communications student with a huge interest in literature, from Shakespeare to Mieko Kawakami, she will always be accompanied by a book and probably something cat themed.
Keisha will be editing for the 25/26 period, primarily on script and prose submissions.

@louise_bourdeauxLouise is a third-year BA English and Creative Writing student. They have a special liking for short stories and interdisciplinary art pieces, and anything with a comical or sarcastic tone.
Louise will be editing multidisciplinary submissions for Golddust during the 2025/26 period.

Assistant Editor.
Martina is a second-year Media and Communications student. Pursuing film, she has a passion for visual storytelling, whether it be drama or experimental pieces. Martina loves exploring London and its music, film, and art scenes.She will be assisting the directorial team this academic year.
