The Great British Homeless Crisis

This radio/podcast documentary aims to shed light on the homelessness crisis which continues to consume the UK under Conservative government. Combining narratives, firsthand observations from London’s streets, and interviews with those involved in tackling the crisis, this factual yet personal piece tries to contribute to meaningful change.

Ivan is a third-year student on the BA Media and Sociology course. Born and raised in London, his research interests have consequently revolved around urban analysis, and the ways in which we occupy the space around us. Bringing together his joint honours disciplines, he has explored a range of creative outputs including radio and photography, guided from various theoretical standpoints. Approaching the end of his final year, he hopes to pursue a career in documentary making.
